Na prostoru Hrvatske, veći je broj mitrijskih spomenika. Većina njih smještenaje unutar važnijih urbanih središta kao i na dijelovima rimskih cestovnih komunikacija. Kao primjer navode se središta kao što su Mursa, Siscija, Salona i druga. U lociranju mitrijskih središta važna je bila uloga portorija: Senija, Salona, Narona (?).

Mithraic centers on the road comunication in Croatia (parts of Roman Dalmatia, Pannonia Inferior, Pannonia Superior and Histria)

From the Croation territory (wich includes parts of Roman Dalmatia and Roman Pannonia as well as a part of Histria) altogether 25 sites are confirmed, wich provided: 29 votive aras, 35 reliefs and 5 mithraeums. The bulk of the mithraic cult was certainly connected with the major Roman roads and water communications.
