Hypoglycemia Induces Diabetic Macrovascular Endothelial Dysfunction via Endothelial Cell PANoptosis, Macrophage Polarization, and VSMC Fibrosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates hypoglycemia‐induced diabetic macrovascular endothelial dysfunction. It reveals that hypoglycemia triggers ZBP1‐dependent PANoptosis of endothelial cells, proinflammatory polarization of macrophages, and fibrosis of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in diabetic mice.

LEDGF Binds H3R17me2a Promoting De Novo Nucleotide Biosynthesis in SETD2 Mutant Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In SETD2‐mutant ccRCC, the original LEDGF recognition of the H3K36me3 regulatory axis no longer exists. LEDGF interacts with CARM1‐dependent H3R17me2a regulating the transcription of key enzymes in the de novo synthesis pathway. The abnormally elevated LEDGF leads to the accumulation of purine nucleotides in SETD2‐mutant ccRCC, thereby satisfying the ...

Pixel Strength and Digitization of Radiographs

open access: yesJournal of Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology, 2007
We performed a pilot study to compare the digitized images of panoramic radiographs with the original film images for perceived clarity and diagnostic quality, and to make comparison amongst the digitized film images captured by a digital camera at ...

Distortions in panoramic radiographs

open access: yesAustralasian Orthodontic Journal, 2002
Abstract This study was designed to investigate the factors affecting linear distortion in orthopantomography. A test model was constructed with metallic rods positioned to simulate maxillary teeth from the first permanent molar to the lateral incisor.

Ligilactobacillus Murinus and Lactobacillus Johnsonii Suppress Macrophage Pyroptosis in Atherosclerosis through Butyrate‐GPR109A‐GSDMD Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Oral aspirin administration induces intestinal expansion of Lactobacillus murinus and Lactobacillus johnsonii, which suppresses the progression of atherosclerosis. This microbial expansion significantly enhances butyrate production by providing lactate as a metabolic substrate, thereby fostering the growth of butyrate‐producing bacteria. Butyrate plays

ChromInSight: Revealing DNA Double‐Strand Breaks Through Chromatin Structural Insights With an Interpretable Graph Neural Network Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
DSBs are the most critical genomic lesions. Using the ChromInSight framework, It is revealed that 3D chromatin structure, rather than linear distance, shapes cluster‐scene between hub‐Nodes and DSB loci. The “spatial isolation–damage containment” hypothesis is proposed to illustrate how the genome responds to genomic damage and offer a powerful tool ...

Characteristics of Medial Depression of the Mandibular Ramus in Patients with Orthodontic Treatment Needs: A Panoramic Radiography Study [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2014
Background: Medial sigmoid depression or medial depression of the mandibular ramus (MDMR) is a known variant of the normal radiographic anatomy.

A deep-learning artificial intelligence system for assessment of root morphology of the mandibular first molar on panoramic radiography.

open access: yesDento maxillo facial radiology, 2019
OBJECTIVES: The distal root of the mandibular first molar occasionally has an extra root, which can directly affect the outcome of endodontic therapy. In this study, we examined the diagnostic performance of a deep learning system for classification of ...

eIF4E Enriched Extracellular Vesicles Induce Immunosuppressive Macrophages through HMGCR‐Mediated Metabolic Rewiring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Here, it is revealed that ovarian cancer cells release extracellular vesicles enriched with eIF4E, which alters protein production in macrophages. This leads to increased expression of 3‐hydroxy‐3‐methyl‐glutaryl‐coenzyme A reductase (HMGCR), boosting cholesterol synthesis and activating an immunosuppressive pathway through X‐box binding protein 1 and ...
