Information Rich 3D Computer Modeling of Urban Environments [PDF]
We are living in an increasingly information rich society. Geographical Information Systems now allow us to precisely tag information to specific features, objects and locations. The Internet is enabling much of this information to be accessed by a whole

A radiographic study on the visualization of the anterior loop in dentate subjects of different age groups [PDF]
The anterior loop is defined as where the mental neurovascular bundle crosses anterior to the mental foramen then doubles back to exit the mental foramen. It cannot be seen clinically but can be detected in 11-60 of panoramic radiographs.

Tooth decay progression transforms the dental pulp response from repair to fibrosis. At early stages, stromal cells reprogram to repair the extra cellular matrix (ECM), blood vessels, and nerves, remodel and grow, keeping repair possible. In advanced decay, hypoxia, and vessel regression, in complement with an immune switch, fuel nerve degeneration and

Accuracy of linear vertical measurements in posterior mandible on panoramic view
Background: One of the most frequent concerns encountered in dental implant treatments is inadequate pre-operative planning. Panoramic radiographs are readily accessible and cost efficient.

Dynamic Illumination for Augmented Reality with Real-Time Interaction [PDF]
Current augmented and mixed reality systems suffer a lack of correct illumination modeling where the virtual objects render the same lighting condition as the real environment. While we are experiencing astonishing results from the entertainment industry

PBRM1 ranks as the second most commonly mutated gene in ccRCC. This study reveals that PBRM1 loss promotes an immunosuppressive microenvironment by elevating M2 TAMs via the KDM5C–IL‐6 axis. These M2 TAMs, along with CAFs, form a barrier that excludes CD8+ T cells. Targeting IL‐6 synergizes with anti‐PD1 therapy, offering a promising strategy for PBRM1‐

Whole exome sequencing in an Italian family with isolated maxillary canine agenesis and canine eruption anomalies [PDF]
Objective: The aim of this study was the clinical and molecular characterization of a family segregating a trait consisting of a phenotype specifically involving the maxillary canines, including agenesis, impaction and ectopic eruption, characterized by ...

PEA nanoenzymes are assembled from L‐arginine and EGCG. The nitrogen element in arginine enhances the thermodynamic feasibility of H2O2 production through PEA's oxygen reduction catalysis, enabling nitrogen‐dependent H2O2 release. Intradermal delivery of PEA via microneedles promotes efficient H2O2 synthesis, thereby stimulating regrowth in telogen ...

Radiation induces polyploid giant cancer cells (PGCCs) that regenerate tumors through virus‐like budding. This process depends on a SNCG–FLOT2–CHMP4B signaling axis functioning in lipid raft microdomains. Disrupting these domains using statins or anti‐PCSK9 antibodies blocks PGCC budding, suppresses tumor repopulation, and enhances radiotherapy ...

Panoramic Images for Situational Awareness in a 3D Chart-of-the-Future Display [PDF]
Many early charts featured sketches of the coastline, providing a good picture of what the shore looked like from the bridge of a ship. These helped the mariner to distinguish one port from another during an approach and establish their rough position ...
