Intra‐articular and intra‐osseous expanded adipose‐derived stromal cell injections for knee osteoarthritis‐related bone marrow lesions yield promising outcomes: Preliminary results in 16 athletes

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Orthopaedics, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Purpose To explore the results of a fluoroscopic‐guided intra‐osseous (IO) and intra‐articular (IA) injection of expanded adipose‐derived stromal cells (ASCs) in athletes with bone marrow lesions (BML) associated with knee osteoarthritis (OA).

Detection of Dens Invaginatus on Panoramic Radiographs Using Deep Learning Algorithms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Paediatric Dentistry, Volume 36, Issue 1, Page 59-66, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Dens invaginatus is a developmental dental anomaly characterized by enamel folding into the dental papilla during odontogenesis. Early detection allows for appropriate management and reduces the risk of complex treatments. Aim This study aimed to evaluate the success and reliability of YOLOv5 and YOLOv8 deep learning models with two

[Panoramic radiograph in the pediatric radiographic examination].

open access: yesRevista ADM (Asociacion Dental Mexicana : 1988), 1990
In the present time the high value of panoramic radiography on diagnosis is recognized in all odontology areas. Panoramic radiography shows in one picture upper and lower arches and numerous adjacent structures that is why it has a special value in pediatric patient radiography examination.

Challenges and Limitations of Multimodal Large Language Models in Interpreting Pediatric Panoramic Radiographs

open access: yesInternational Journal of Paediatric Dentistry, Volume 36, Issue 1, Page 74-80, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Multimodal large language models (LLMs) have potential for medical image analysis, yet their reliability for pediatric panoramic radiographs remains uncertain. Aim This study evaluated two multimodal LLMs (OpenAI o1, Claude 3.5 Sonnet) for detecting and counting teeth (including tooth germs) on pediatric panoramic radiographs ...
