Triple‐loss driven generative adversarial network for pansharpening

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 18, Issue 1, Page 211-232, 10 January 2024.
This method constructs three loss components with the help of the generator and the dual‐discriminator, which are calculated in both the original spatial domain and the transform domain to better preserve high‐frequency and low‐frequency information in the fused image. Additionally, a new training strategy is designed to stabilize the training process.

Multi-resolution analysis techniques and nonlinear PCA for hybrid pansharpening applications

open access: yes, 2015
International audienceHyperspectral images have a higher spectral resolution (i.e., a larger number of bands covering the electromagnetic spectrum), but a lower spatial resolution with respect to multispectral or panchromatic acquisitions. For increasing

Hyperspectral pansharpening using QNR optimization constraint [PDF]

open access: yes2009 First Workshop on Hyperspectral Image and Signal Processing: Evolution in Remote Sensing, 2009
This paper presents a method for pansharpening of low resolution Hyperspectral (HS) images. The proposed method is based upon the optimization of both the spectral and spatial quality criteria of the QNR quality assessment index. The simultaneous optimization of the spectral and spatial quality constraints is obtained by means of the Pareto solutions ...

Joint multichannel pansharpening for multispectral imagery [PDF]

open access: yes2013 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing, 2013
Pan-sharpening is a common post-processing operation for captured multispectral satellite imagery, where the spatial resolution of images gathered in various spectral bands is enhanced by fusing them with a panchromatic image captured at a higher resolution.

Bayesian fusion of multispectral and hyperspectral images using a block coordinate descent method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
International audienceThis paper studies a new Bayesian optimization algorithm for fusing hyperspectral and multispectral images. The hyperspectral image is supposed to be obtained by blurring and subsampling a high spatial and high spectral target image.

CDSS-Pan: Convolutional Dictionary Learning With State Space Model for Pansharpening

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Restricted by the development of contemporary sensors, we can only acquire multispectral images (MS) and high-resolution panchromatic (PAN) images separately.

Haze Correction for Contrast-Based Multispectral Pansharpening

open access: yesIEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2017
In this letter, we show that pansharpening of visible/near-infrared (VNIR) bands takes advantage from a correction of the path-radiance term introduced by the atmosphere during the fusion process. This holds whenever the fusion mechanism emulates the radiative transfer model ruling the acquisition of the Earth's surface from space, that is, for methods
