PMP2 Enhances Schwann Cell Metabolism and Promotes Myelination
Myelinating Schwann cells require tight metabolic control to sustain axonal support and nerve function. We identify Peripheral Myelin Protein 2 (PMP2), a Schwann cell specific fatty acid (FA) binding protein, as a key regulator of Schwann cell bioenergetics.
