Proceedings of the Seventh International Workshop on Data Management for Sensor Networks, 2010
Sensor nodes constitute inexpensive, disposable devices that are often scattered in harsh environments of interest so as to collect and communicate desired measurements of monitored quantities. Due to the commodity hardware used in the construction of sensor nodes, the readings of sensors are frequently tainted with outliers.

HM-PAO-imaging and herpes encephalitis
Archives of Virology, 1989Selective uptake of the cerebral blood-flow imaging agent 99mTc-hexamethylpropyleneamine oxime (HM-PAO) by Human Herpesvirus 1 (HSV-1) infected cells was investigated in vivo and in vitro. No specific uptake of HM-PAO was observed either in encephalitic rats (by brain scintigraphic imaging or by immunoperoxidase staining/autoradiography of brain ...

Dechloromonas: to be or not to be a PAO? That is the question! [PDF]
Members of the genus Dechloromonas are often abundant in EBPR plants worldwide and have long been considered putative PAOs, as intracellular poly-P has been identified with traditional staining methods. This study applied metagenomics to determine the metabolic potential and Raman microspectroscopy to verify and define the levels and dynamics of ...

Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) after intravenous administration of Technetium-99m hexamethylpropylene-amine oxime (Tc-99m HM-PAO) makes possible the evaluation of cerebral perfusion. We have been assessing the diagnostic accuracy of SPECT in some groups of head trauma patients: the preliminary results of this study are presented ...
