The Clarification of Friction Mechanism in Oil Lubrication for CNx Coating by In-Situ Observation of Friction Area with Reflectance Spectroscopy

open access: yesTribology Online, 2021
To clarify the low friction mechanism of CNx coating in PAO oil lubrication, we measured reflectance spectrum at friction area in-situ by reflectance spectroscopy during friction test against a sapphire hemisphere pin in PAO oil.

Loss of E3 Ubiquitin Ligase RINES via CpG Methylation Relieves Suppression of STAT3 and MYC, Facilitating Multiple Tumorigeneses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dysregulated protein modifications drive tumorigenesis. RINES, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, represses tumor cell proliferation and metastasis by facilitating RING domain‐dependent, ubiquitin–proteasome‐mediated degradation of STAT3 and MYC, which consequently restrains cancer stemness and oncogenic progression.

Ru‐Doping‐Engineered Oxygen Vacancies in MoO3‐x Nanostructured Films With Ultrahigh Capacitance for Flexible Asymmetric Supercapacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ru‐doping‐induced defect engineering enables freestanding Ru–MoO3‐x flexible films with enriched oxygen vacancies, modulated band structure, and enhanced charge transport. The optimized electrode delivers ultrahigh capacitance approaching the theoretical limit of MoO3, while assembled asymmetric supercapacitors exhibit high energy density, wide‐voltage

Visual evoked potential monitoring for parent artery occlusion of giant posterior cerebral artery aneurysm

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Neurosurgery, 2020
Giant posterior cerebral artery (PCA) aneurysms often require parent artery occlusion (PAO) because of the difficulty of direct treatment. Recently, reproducible and stable visual evoked potential (VEP) monitoring has been used for the evaluation of ...

OsCPK12‐OsATPD1 Module Regulates Photosynthetic Acclimation to Light Stress in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
OsCPK12 interacts and phosphorylates OsAtpD1 at Ser8 in its transit peptide. This phosphorylation promote its chloroplast translocation, thereby maintaining ATP synthase activity and proton gradient (ΔpH) homeostasis and regulating photosynthetic acclimation, photoprotection, and repair under light stress.

Epigenetic Silencing of CYYR1 Promotes Lung Adenocarcinoma Progression Through TRIM21‐Dependent Regulation of HMMR Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CYYR1 as an epigenetically dysregulated tumor‐suppressive factor that influences oncoprotein stability through TRIM21‐dependent HMMR regulation and reveals a potential therapeutic vulnerability in CYYR1‐deficient LUAD. The graphical illustration was created using FigDraw (www.figdraw.com).

Perceived outcomes of periacetabular osteotomy: a social media analysis

open access: yesBone & Joint Open
Aims: Social media is a popular resource for patients seeking medical information and sharing experiences. periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) is the gold-standard treatment for symptomatic acetabular dysplasia with good long-term outcomes. However, little is
