A panchromatic view of PKS 0558-504: an ideal laboratory to study the disk-jet link

open access: yes, 2010
PKS 0558-504 is the brightest radio-loud Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 galaxy at X-ray energies. Here we present results from the radio, optical, UV, and X-ray bands obtained with Swift, XMM, and ATCA during a 10-day monitoring campaign in September 2008.

Impact of Beam Profile on Raman Spectroscopy Measurements

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, Volume 57, Issue 1, Page 181-191, January 2026.
Characterisation and optimisation of the laser beam profile in Raman spectroscopy is critical to ensure accuracy and reproducibility of measurements. The laser beam size and profile have a significant effect on the axial resolution, energy distribution on the sample, focal spot size and excitation volume.

MicroRNA Expression in Breast Cancer Patients, an Integrative Review

open access: yesJournal of Surgical Oncology, Volume 133, Issue 1, Page 31-38, January 2026.
ABSTRACT This integrative review examines the differential expression of miRNAs in breast cancer patients across various disease stages. Through analysis of 42 articles published between 2005 and 2023, the review identifies multiple miRNAs with significant diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive potential in breast cancer management.

Short Timescale AGN X-ray Variability with EXOSAT: Black hole mass and Normalised Variability Amplitude

open access: yes, 2012
The old EXOSAT medium energy measurements of high frequency (HF) AGN power spectral normalisation are re-examined in the light of accurate black hole mass determinations which were not available when these data were first published (Green et al 1993). It

Common ocular motor paralysis in a tabetic anatomical examination. A. Papadaki. (Neurological Review, 1904)

open access: yesNeurology Bulletin, 2021
Musculi externi eyes are rarely (39: 100) paralyzed in the prodromal period of the tabes. Paralysis is mild and transient at first, but returns severe and prolonged. In this case, all, or almost all, of the motor of the eye is affected, which deviates outward, and ptosis sets in.
