Paper‐Based Electrochemical Biosensors: From Test Strips to Paper‐Based Microfluidics
Electroanalysis, 2014AbstractPapers based biosensors such as lateral flow test strips and paper‐based microfluidic devices are inexpensive, rapid, flexible, and easy‐to‐use analytical tools for point‐of‐care diagnosis. An apparent trend in their detection is to interpret sensing results from qualitative assessment to quantitative determination.

Journal of the American Institute for Conservation, 1997
AbstractPaper can be a very effective support material for housing objects. Historically, works of art and artifacts on paper have been stored in paper enclosures with great success. If housings are properly designed, paper can also be used to store small objects.

Electrochemical paper‐based microfluidic devices
ELECTROPHORESIS, 2015Self‐pumping porous microfluidic devices have attracted significant interest because of their low cost and broad applicability in point‐of‐care and low resource settings. One limitation of many of the devices is sensitivity and selectivity for detection.

Paper-based modular origami gripper
2019 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), 2019In this paper, a novel method to construct a versatile gripper which can grasp various sizes and shapes of objects is proposed. The design and construction of this gripper is based on a paper folding technique called ‘modular origami’ This particular type of origami is constructed from multiple modules which can transform its shape by rotation.

Paper-Based for Isolation of Extracellular Vesicles
2017Paper-based devices chemically functionalized with capturing molecules enable the isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from samples of limited amount. Here, we describe the isolation of EV subpopulations from human serum samples.
