Biogeographical observations on the Philippine Papilionoidea (Lepidoptera)
Abstract The Papilionoidea of the Philippines and Palawan were studied with different statistical methods to show distribution and faunistic similarities. The results can be summarized as follows: a) Palawan is significantly different from the Philippines, while the similarities are virtually undistinguishable from Borneo and Malaysia; b) the high ...

Production of de novo complete whole genomes and scaffolding with new reference genomes of Leptocircini allow to extract thousands of orthologous genes for almost all species of the tribe. Extensive phylogenomic analyses allow to revise taxonomy and systematics of the group based on phylogenomic trees representing 90% of Leptocircini. Whole‐genome data

30,351 data from 1825 to 2022 were used to assess community changes in Aosta Valley. 2.9% of the butterfly community risks extinction. Butterfly extinction risks increase when the altitudinal range decreases. ABSTRACT Estimating species extinction risk is crucial to reverse biodiversity loss and to adopt proper conservation measures.
