ABSTRACT Introduction Multiple synchronous renal tumors (MSRT) in unilateral kidney are clinically rare. Simultaneous resection for multiple tumors with RAPN is complicated and challenging. Herein, we report the successful resection of three synchronous renal tumors located in unilateral kidney with RAPN using the hinotori surgical robot system.

TBCancer: A database for exploring characteristics and functions of tissue‐biased genes in cancer
This study defined 10,921 tissue‐biased genes across 54 normal tissues and 41 cancer types. Tumor‐associated tissue‐biased genes exhibit downregulation, mutations, and epigenetic modifications, correlating with poor clinical outcomes. Their inactivation promotes tumorigenesis by enhancing stemness and immune evasion, highlighting their value as ...

Patient‐derived xenograft models in pan‐cancer: From bench to clinic
Abstract Patient‐derived xenograft (PDX) models provide a robust preclinical platform that preserves the genetic and phenotypic heterogeneity of patient tumors while mirroring their tumor genetic characteristics, which retain malignant cells and the tumor pathological structure, making them valuable for studying tumor progression and developing ...

Evaluation of renal masses with CEST MRI: Protocol optimization and preliminary results
Abstract Purpose This study investigates the application of CEST MRI in human kidneys, with the overarching goal of developing CEST MRI for renal mass characterization. Here, the focus is on the development of a protocol and the proof‐of‐principle evaluation of CEST for the characterization of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC).

Malignancies and immunoglobulin G4‐related disease
Immunoglobulin G4‐related disease (IgG4‐RD) is associated with increased cancer risk. Malignancies affect both IgG4‐RD involved organs, such as the lung, pancreas, bile duct, and prostate, and noninvolved organs, such as the gastrointestinal duct. B‐cell neoplasms constitute a proportion of the malignancies linked to this disease.
