Soft decision PAPR reduction in OFDM

International Multi-Conference on Systems, Sygnals & Devices, 2012
This work deals with problem of improving the peak-to-mean average power ratio (PAPR) of the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals. Clipping is simple and efficient way to overcome the large PAPR in OFDM systems ; however this technique results in bit error rate (BER) increasing in the receiver.

FBMC-OQAM PAPR Reduction Schemes

2020 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC), 2020
Peak to average power ratio (PAPR) is a major problem that affects the performance of multicarrier systems. Filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC/OQAM) is one of modulation schemes that has raised the attention of researchers given its superiority in terms of spectral efficiency. As any other multicarrier modulation

Intelligent interleaver for PAPR reduction

2008 Second International Conference on Electrical Engineering, 2008
In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, one of the major problems to be tackled is high peak to average power ratio (PAPR). In this paper a PAPR reduction scheme for OFDM system is proposed that takes the advantage of the classification capability of learning vector quantization (LVQ) networks.
