CodY is a global regulator whose phosphorylation at serine 215 by PrkC/YbdM alters its DNA binding, thereby modulating gene expression and impacting motility, biofilm formation, cytotoxicity, and pathogenicity in Bacillus cereus, suggesting a conserved regulatory mechanism in Firmicutes ABSTRACT CodY acts as a key regulatory protein involved in ...

Human tissue kallikrein 14 (KLK14), a skin protease, may mediate paracrine signaling in wound healing. KLK14 released by epithelial cells activates fibroblasts via PAR‐1 activation, inducing IL‐6, IL‐8, and CXCL1 expression. These cytokines in turn promote keratinocyte proliferation and migration, resulting in wound closure.

Research on PAPR reduction algorithm based on CWGAN-SLM for multi-wavelet OFDM system
In order to meet the demand for low peak to average ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology in the future 6G satellite-ground integrated system, an algorithm combining selective mapping (SLM) algorithm and multi ...

ABSTRACT In this article, we provide a novel, expanded, and adapted pruning approach for the Simplified Volterra Series (SVS) model that makes it applicable to a wider range of Power Amplifiers (PAs). The proposed Modified SVS (MSVS) model is then applied in a Digital Predistortion (DPD) architecture to linearize a 25 W Gallium Nitride (GaN) RF PA.

Performance Analysis of MIMO Links With Non‐Isolated Active Antenna Arrays
ABSTRACT In this paper, we analyze the performance of non‐isolated active arrays in a multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) system. When ferromagnetic‐type isolators are removed in the transmitter (Tx) chains, the antenna mutual coupling will dynamically change the load impedance seen by the power amplifiers (PAs) at their outputs, which subsequently ...

PAPR Reduction Solutions for 5G and Beyond.
The latest fifth generation (5G) wireless technology provides improved communication quality compared to earlier generations. The 5G New Radio (NR), specified by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), addresses the modern requirements of the wireless networks and targets improved communication quality in terms of for example peak data rates ...

A new PAPR reduction in OFDM systems using PTS combined with APPR for TWTA nonlinear HPA [PDF]
In this paper, we propose a new Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) reduction technique using a partial transmit sequence (PTS) combined with adaptive peak power reduction (APPR) methods.

A New Approach to Iterative Clipping and Filtering PAPR Reduction Scheme for OFDM Systems
While achieving reduced/good peak-to-average power (PAPR) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is attractive, this must not be performed at the expense of the transmitted signal with over-reduced signal power, as it leads to ...

A Novel PAPR in OTFS Systems Through ISSA-PTS and ISPR Techniques
In modern communication systems, managing the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) remains a critical challenge, particularly in Orthogonal Time-Frequency Space (OTFS) systems.
