Emergence of Rashba Spin‐Orbit Coupling in Staggered‐Gyromagnetic Photonic Crystals

Rashba spin‐orbit coupling emerges in a staggered‐gyromagnetic photonic crystal under a uniform out‐of‐plane magnetic bias. The staggered magnetization splits a four‐fold Dirac point into a Rashba band structure carrying helical spin textures, verified by a four‐band k‐p model.

A Kantorovich Version of Bernstein‐Type Logarithmic Operators

ABSTRACT In this paper, we introduce a Kantorovich version of the Bernstein‐type logarithmic operators. The idea comes from the wide literature concerning exponential polynomials that preserve exponential functions: here, the exponential weights are replaced by logarithmic ones and the corresponding operators preserve the logarithmic functions.
