POISSON GEOMETRY OF PARABOLIC BUNDLES ON ELLIPTIC CURVES [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics, 2008
The moduli space of G-bundles on an elliptic curve with additional flag structure admits a Poisson structure. The bivector can be defined using double loop group, loop group and sheaf cohomology constructions. We investigate the links between these methods and for the case SL2 perform explicit computations, describing the bracket and its leaves in ...

Al–Cu Composite Casting of Laser‐Deoxidized Copper: Bonding, Interfacial Chemistry, and Thermal Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...

Local Generalized Symmetries and Locally Symmetric Parabolic Geometries

open access: yes, 2017
We investigate (local) automorphisms of parabolic geometries that generalize geodesic symmetries. We show that many types of parabolic geometries admit at most one generalized geodesic symmetry at a point with non-zero harmonic curvature.

Productivity‐Driven Optimization of Laser Powder Bed Fusion Parameters for IN718 Superalloy: Process Control, Microstructure, and Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates how optimizing laser power, scanning speed, and hatching distance in laser powder bed fusion can boost the productivity of Inconel 718 manufacturing by up to 29% while maintaining mechanical integrity. The work delivers a validated process window and cost–time analysis, offering industry‐ready guidelines for efficient additive ...

Surface Tension Measurement of Ti‐6Al‐4V by Falling Droplet Method in Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
In this article, the temperature‐dependent surface tension of free falling, oscillating Ti‐6Al‐4V droplets is investigated in both argon and monosilane doped, oxygen‐free atmosphere. Droplet temperature and oscillation are captured with one single high‐speed camera, and the surface tension is calculated with Rayleigh's formula.

Geometry of the moduli of parabolic bundles on elliptic curves

open access: yes, 2021
International audienceThe goal of this paper is the study of simple rank 2 parabolic vector bundles over a 2-punctured elliptic curve C. We show that the moduli space of these bundles is a non-separated gluing of two charts isomorphic to ℙ^1×ℙ^1. We also

Direct Metal Deposition of Graphene–Ti28Nb35.4Zr Matrix Composites With Enhanced Mechanical, Corrosion, and Biocompatibility Properties for Bone Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Graphene nanoplatelet (0.1 wt.%) reinforcement significantly enhances the performance of β Ti‐28Nb‐35.4Zr alloy. Grain refinement, reduced water contact angle, and improved surface characteristics promote osteoblast adhesion and complete surface coverage after 7 days.

On parabolic geometry, II

open access: yesKyoto Journal of Mathematics, 2009
Let $G$ be a simple linear algebraic group defined over $\mathbb{C}$ and $P$ a parabolic subgroup of it. Let $(M, E_P, \omega)$ be a holomorphic parabolic geometry of type $G/P$ over a smooth complex projective variety $M$. We prove that $(M, E_ , \omega)$ is holomorphically isomorphic to the standard parabolic geometry $(G/P, G, \omega_0)$ whenever $M$

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 43, 29 May 2026.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.
