A stability analysis for a semilinear parabolic partial differential equation [PDF]
AbstractWe consider a parabolic partial differential equation ut = uxx + f(u), where − ∞ < x < + ∞ and 0 < t < + ∞. Under suitable hypotheses pertaining to f, we exhibit a class of initial data φ(x), − ∞ < x < + ∞, for which the corresponding solutions u(x, t) approach zero as t → + ∞.

The resonant energy of the A and B exciton of the new 2D material, monolayer MoSi2N4, is found to be 2.18 and 2.34 eV, respectively, indicating a spin‐splitting energy of ≈160 meV. Complex and diverse exciton dynamics are observed. The work has a profound influence on the future developments of MoSi2N4‐based optoelectronic devices and the synthesis of ...

(1) The study found that the pupil area change rate, heart beat change rate and eyelid closure have good consistency for characterizing the driver's load. (2) In mountainous road, the driving load is different under different alignment conditions. The driving load is the largest when turning left, the second when turning right, and the smallest when ...

On semi-linear parabolic partial differential equations
We give an operator theoretical treatment of initial value problems for semi-linear parabolic partial differential equations: existence of solutions, uniqueness and regularity. We make use of the theory of fractional powers of operators, the theory of semigroups of operators and L2-estimates for elliptic boundary value problems.

Parabolic Partial Differential Equations as Inverse Moments Problem [PDF]
We considerer parabolic partial differential equations under the conditions on a region . We will see that we can write the equation in partial derivatives as an Fredholm integral equation of first kind and will solve this latter with the techniques of inverse moments problem.

Indium‐Doping Advances High‐Performance Flexible Ag2Se Thin Films
A “precursor doping strategy” is employed to realize In‐doping at Ag sites in Ag2Se thin films, boosting electrical conductivity while maintaining a high Seebeck coefficient, therefore achieving a high‐power factor of ≈26.3 µW cm−1 K−2 and ZT of ≈1.

Influence of geometrical manufacturing tolerances on lithium‐ion battery performance
The influence of electrode coating thickness, calendaring and electrode cutting tolerance on lithium‐ion battery capacity, energy, resistance and voltage relaxation is investigated through a numerical model. Electrode cutting tolerance has the largest affect upon cell performance characteristics, with calendaring tolerance predominantly affecting the ...

Realizing High Performance in Flexible Mg3Sb2−xBix Thin‐Film Thermoelectrics
A p‐type Mg3Sb2−xBix thin film is prepared using a magnetron sputtering method combined with ex situ annealing. The performance and microstructural changes of the material are analyzed under varying Bi compositions. It is found that when x = 0.9, the Mg3Sb1.1Bi0.9 thin film achieved a power factor of 3.771 µW cm−1 K−2 and a ZT value of 0.242 at 500 K ...
