Markov processes and parabolic partial differential equations [PDF]

In the first part of this article, we present the main tools and definitions of Markov processes' theory: transition semigroups, Feller processes, infinitesimal generator, Kolmogorov's backward and forward equations and Feller diffusion. We also give several classical examples including stochastic differential equations (SDEs) and backward SDEs (BSDEs).

Stratum Corneum‐Inspired Zwitterionic Hydrogels with Intrinsic Water Retention and Anti‐Freezing Properties for Intelligent Flexible Sensors

A novel stratum corneum‐inspired zwitterionic hydrogel is developed for intelligent, flexible sensors, featuring intrinsic water retention and anti‐freezing properties. The quasi‐gel, composed of hygroscopic polymers and bound water, maintains its softness across a wide range of humidity.

Recent steady‐state and time‐resolved spectroscopic studies regarding the exciton diffusion to donor:acceptor interfaces, charge transfer at the donor:acceptor interface, and long‐range spatial dissociation of charge transfer states are highlighted.

High Thermoelectric Performance in Low‐Cost Cu8SiSxSe6‐x Argyrodite

This study discovers the great potential of Cu8SiSxSe6‐x argyrodites as new, low‐cost, Te‐free thermoelectric materials. The proposed defect scheme suppresses the phase transition, enhances the weighted mobility and optimizes the grain boundary contacts.

Novel motor‐free soft robots for cancer detection, surgery, and in situ bioprinting–are presented. This master‐slave system is constructed from soft fibrous syringe architectures, removing the need for electrical motors and complex control mechanisms, while reducing the physical tremors.
