Resurveys of Sphagnum‐dominated mires in the Western Alps revealed marked vegetation changes over 12‐ and 25‐year periods. Observed patterns include increased species richness, woody plant encroachment, and declines in mire specialists, indicative of the progressive drying.

Abstract Premature aging of red wines (PremOx) is an emerging defect in red wines, related to the onset of cooked fruit, plum and dried figs nuances, as well as the loss of aging potential. Manipulating quantum Hall edge channels in graphene through Scanning Gate Microscopy [PDF]

We show evidence of the backscattering of quantum Hall edge channels in a narrow graphene Hall bar, induced by the gating effect of the conducting tip of a Scanning Gate Microscope, which we can position with nanometer precision.
