FEASIBILITY STUDY OF PARAFFIN-BASED FUELS FOR HYBRID ROCKET ENGINE APPLICATIONS

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energetic Materials and Chemical Propulsion, 2014
This paper describes a combined analysis performed in pure waxes and paraffin-based mixtures that can be used as solid fuels in hybrid rocket engines. Density easurements of pure waxes were performed using a dilatometer. An experimental facility was set up and, after preliminary measurements and calibration, a repeatable procedure was implemented.

Prmt6 Deficiency or Inhibition Restores Microglial Homeostasis and Promotes Scar‐Limited Repair in Adult Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
After spinal cord injury, adult microglia remain persistently activated with chronic PRMT6 (protein arginine methyltransferase 6) upregulation. Prmt6 deficiency or inhibition reestablishes microglial homeostasis and promotes a scar‐limited repairment, enhancing axonal regrowth.

A novel mouse model of endometriosis: Simulating the recurrent hemorrhagic microenvironment of clinical lesions

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
To address the limitations of existing models, this study innovatively established a mouse model of endometriosis (EMs) capable of mimicking cyclic bleeding. Our results confirmed that this model recapitulates the complete pathological progression from ectopic lesion establishment to systemic responses, exhibiting superior clinical relevance compared ...

Technobiological Pathways for High‐CO₂ Capture Using Micro‐/Macroalgae: Genetic Engineering, Process Automation, and Value‐Added Bioproducts

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have emerged as one of the most critical drivers of climate change; this is primarily due to high concentrations and long atmospheric life of carbon dioxide (CO2). For a significant amount of time, various biological processes such as microalgal cultivation, cyanobacterial systems, photosynthetic microorganisms ...
