Pityriasis Lichenoides: Comparison of Two Pediatric Patients and Its Relationships With Vaccines and Infections

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Pityriasis lichenoides (PL) is a benign, self‐limiting inflammatory condition, characterized by the appearance of papular, scaly, or necrotic lesions. Diagnostic concordance of dermatopathology and PCR in differentiating eczema from psoriasis

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Volume 40, Issue 7, Page 1227-1237, July 2026.
Distinguishing psoriasis from eczema is challenging due to overlapping clinical and histological features. This study shows substantial inter‐observer variability among dermatopathologists and demonstrates that a NOS2‐/CCL27‐based molecular test, including a fully automated platform, provides more accurate and reproducible diagnoses, particularly in ...

Critical role of keratinocytes and protease‐activated receptor 2 in secondary lymphedema development

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
Activated keratinocytes play an important role in the early stage of the pathophysiology of secondary lymphedema through PAR2 signaling. Lymphatic injury‐induced protease activation stimulates keratinocyte PAR2 signaling, driving hyperkeratosis and Th2 inflammation, which can be therapeutically attenuated by teriflunomide. Abstract Background Secondary
