Measurement of Source Star Colors with the K2C9-CFHT Multi-color Microlensing Survey [PDF]
K2 Campaign 9 (K2C9) was the first space-based microlensing parallax survey capable of measuring microlensing parallaxes of free-floating planet candidate microlensing events.

Modeling depth from motion parallax with the motion/pursuit ratio
The perception of unambiguous scaled depth from motion parallax relies on both retinal image motion and an extra-retinal pursuit eye movement signal. The motion/pursuit ratio represents a dynamic geometric model linking these two proximal cues to the ...

Trigonometric Parallaxes of Central Stars of Planetary Nebulae [PDF]
Trigonometric parallaxes of 16 nearby planetary nebulae are presented, including reduced errors for seven objects with previous initial results and results for six new objects.

Exoplanet Transit Parallax [PDF]
The timing and duration of exoplanet transits has a dependency on observer position due to parallax. In the case of an Earth-bound observer with a 2 AU baseline the dependency is typically small and slightly beyond the limits of current timing precision ...

Parallax Inference for Robust Temporal Monocular Depth Estimation in Unstructured Environments
Estimating the distance to objects is crucial for autonomous vehicles, but cost, weight or power constraints sometimes prevent the use of dedicated depth sensors.

Gaze-Contingent Ocular Parallax Rendering for Virtual Reality [PDF]
Immersive computer graphics systems strive to generate perceptually realistic user experiences. Current-generation virtual reality (VR) displays are successful in accurately rendering many perceptually important effects, including perspective, disparity,

Parallax-Robust Surveillance Video Stitching
This paper presents a parallax-robust video stitching technique for timely synchronized surveillance video. An efficient two-stage video stitching procedure is proposed in this paper to build wide Field-of-View (FOV) videos for surveillance applications.

Direct Distance Measurement to the Dusty White Dwarf GD 362 [PDF]
We present trigonometric parallax observations of GD 362 obtained over seven epochs using the MDM 2.4m Hiltner Telescope. The existence of a dust disk around this possibly massive white dwarf makes it an interesting target for parallax observations.
