Parallel programming with bags
1992We show the relevance of a high level computational model for the development of correct parallel programs. To this end we derive four programs solving classical problems; some of which generally considered as “inherently sequential”. The paper is only concerned with correctness and does not address implementation issues.

On the Portability of Parallel Programs
1998The main result of this contribution is the formulation of a hierarchical programming concept for parallel computing, which reduces the effort of porting parallel programs across different parallel architectures. The concept is applied in two examples, a parallel library for iterative solvers and a program for molecular dynamics.
