Environmental Enrofloxacin Exposure as a Modifiable Driver of Mitochondria‐Mediated Intestinal Aging and Barrier Dysfunction

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 5, May 2026.
Environmentally relevant enrofloxacin accelerates intestinal aging by impairing epithelial mitochondrial function, disrupting barrier integrity, and reshaping the gut microbiota. Mitochondrial restoration with pyrroloquinoline quinone alleviates hypoxia, inflammation, and gut damage.

Analysis of landslide movements using interferometric synthetic aperture radar: A case study in Hunza-Nagar Valley, Pakistan [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
From a geological standpoint, northern Pakistan is one of the most active and unstable areas in the world. As a consequence, many massive landslides have occurred in the area in historical times that have destroyed infrastructure, blocked the Hunza River,

Intelligent Environmental Hazards Detection in Transmission Line Construction Area Based on Remote Sensing and GIS

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
The test results displayed reveal that the proposed method efficiently accomplishes the remote sensing image processing of the area, yielding a differential interferogram of the image. This interferogram accurately represents the area and provides a solid foundation for calculating the environmental hazard zone within the construction area.

Beyond Rock Glaciers: Investigating Meltwater Contribution and Water Quality in High‐Mountain Springs From Different Landforms

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 40, Issue 4, April 2026.
We investigated the water chemistry of springs from different landforms in high‐elevation Alpine catchments. Only in predisposing lithological settings, springs from landforms most likely influenced by ice had a poor water quality with high dissolved concentrations of metals.

Surface Deformation of the Nanga Parbat Crustal Diapir in the Northwestern Himalaya Imaged With GNSS and InSAR

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract The Nanga Parbat–Haramosh Massif located in the northwestern syntaxis of the Himalaya is an antiformal structure considered as a crustal diapir undergoing exhumation at a rate larger than 10 mm/yr since 1 Ma. Using GNSS horizontal surface velocities and a vertical and east–west decomposition of the Sentinel‐1 interferometric line‐of‐sight ...

Monitoring active open-pit mine stability in the Rhenish coalfields of Germany using a coherence-based SBAS method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
With the recent progress in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technology, especially the new generation of SAR satellites (Sentinel-1 and TerraSAR-X), our ability to assess slope stability in open-pit mines has significantly improved.

Large‐Scale Deformation, Strain Characteristics, and Locking Distribution of the Qilian‐Haiyuan Fault System

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract The Qilian‐Haiyuan fault system is the main tectonic boundary of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, controlling the regional tectonic deformation and seismic activity. Extensive Sentinel‐1 SAR data (2014–2021) are used to map the regional tectonic deformation, strain distribution, and locking along primary and secondary faults.

A Risk Monitoring Method for Urban Buildings Based on Structural Differential Settlement Index Using InSAR Technology

open access: yesStructural Control and Health Monitoring, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In urban areas with high population density and significant economic assets, both above‐ground and underground developments exert considerable influence on the safety of existing multistory and high‐rise buildings constructed in earlier periods, and a number of these aging buildings are facing increasingly severe safety risks with the extension of ...
