Fractional Skyrmion Tubes in Chiral‐Interfaced 3D Magnetic Nanowires

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In chiral 3D helical magnetic nanowires, the coupling between the geometric and magnetic chirality provides a way to create topological spin states like vortex tubes. Here, it is demonstrated how the breaking of this coupling in interfaced 3D nanowires of opposite chirality leads to even more complex topological spin states, such as fractional ...

Fejer means of rational Fourier – Chebyshev series and approximation of function |x|s

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2019
Approximation properties of Fejer means of Fourier series by Chebyshev – Markov system of algebraic fractions and approximation by Fejer means of function |x|s, 0 < s < 2, on the interval [−1,1], are studied.

Characterization of a class of differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper deals with a characterization of nonlinear systems of the form x¿ (t) = f (x¿(t), u(t/¿)) when the parameter ¿ ¿ 8. In particular, we are interested in the uniform convergence of the sequence of functions x¿ (¿t).

Bound state energies and phase shifts of a non-commutative well

open access: yes, 2009
Non-commutative quantum mechanics can be viewed as a quantum system represented in the space of Hilbert-Schmidt operators acting on non-commutative configuration space.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Second order parameter-uniform convergence for a finite difference method for a partially singularly perturbed linear parabolic system

open access: yesMathematical Communications, 2014
A linear system of $n$ second order differential equations of parabolic reaction-diffusion type with initial and boundary conditions is considered. The first $k$ equations are singularly perturbed. Each of the leading terms of the first $m$ equations, $m\leq k$, is multiplied by a small positive parameter and these parameters are assumed to be distinct.

Numerical solution of the time-fractional Fokker-Planck equation with general forcing

open access: yes, 2015
We study two schemes for a time-fractional Fokker-Planck equation with space- and time-dependent forcing in one space dimension. The first scheme is continuous in time and is discretized in space using a piecewise-linear Galerkin finite element method ...

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...

(Fractional) Beta Convergence [PDF]

open access: yes
Unit roots in output, an exponential 2 per cent rate of convergence and no change in the underlying dynamics of output seem to be three stylized facts that cannot go together.

Ladder‐Type Benzene‐Perylene Dyes with Efficient Laser Properties in the Near‐IR by Detracting/Activating Low/High Frequency Vibronic Modes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The NNR‐n series of oligomeric nanographenes delivers exceptional emission performance. This work shows that this performance is originated by their ladder‐type structure, which effectively deactivates low‐frequency vibronic modes. This deactivation neglects the main pathway for non‐emissive deactivation, even in the near‐infrared region. The potential
