Parameter Calibrations on MOSFET Stress Sensors
Journal of Electronic Packaging, 2012Due to the carrier mobility changes with the mechanical loading and its small size, the MOSFET (metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effective-transistor) has the potential to be a suitable chip stress monitoring tool for microelectronic packaging. In this work, a complete and accurate approach to calibrate the coefficients for both types of MOSFET stress ...

Applied Spectroscopy, 2004
The grating equation is used to generate quadratic calibration equations for multichannel detectors with perpendicular and tilted focal planes. The quadratic coefficients are not independent and contain terms that are used to solve for spectrometer-detector parameters. The parameters can be calculated from a quadratic fit at one spectrometer position,

Calibration of fission track dating parameters
Nuclear Track Detection, 1977Abstract A comparison of fission track and K-Ar ages for a set of mineral age standards has been used to evaluate the 238U spontaneous fission decay constant, 238λf. Neutron doses were monitored with two fission-track glasses calibrated against a series of Co wire neutron flux monitors in an irradiation facility with a uniform flux distribution in ...

Improved Free-Space S-Parameter Calibration
2005 IEEE Instrumentationand Measurement Technology Conference Proceedings, 2006An improved method for performing a full two-port s-parameter calibration in free-space is presented. The proposed calibration technique computes the error coefficients from measurements made on an empty fixture and a measurement made on a metal plate of known thickness. Time-domain gating was employed.

Electric Parameters and Calibration of Accelerometers
Seismic Instruments, 2019The paper describes the operating principle of piezoelectric accelerometers and methods for determining their conversion factor in the time and frequency domains; the methods involve comparing simultaneous recordings of an accelerometer, a displacement sensor, a velocimeter, and a calibration shaker table.

Hydrological model parameters space during calibration
International Journal of Hydrology Science and Technology, 2020Hydrological models are widely used for different water resource problems. There are several objective functions which can be used to calibrate a model. In this study, an attempt has been made to analysis the parameter space mapped by different objective functions during calibration. A conceptual hydrological model was calibrated using robust parameter

Calibration of rock fall modeling parameters
International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences, 2014Abstract Rock falls can be a hazard for many facilities in mountainous terrain, particularly in areas with high rainfall and freezing temperatures, and where seismic events occur. Design of protection measures against rock falls, such as fences, barriers and sheds requires information on impact energy to determine the strength of the structure, and ...

WindSat calibration and geophysical parameter estimation
IEEE International IEEE International IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2004. IGARSS '04. Proceedings. 2004, 2004Three aspects of WindSat performance are presented. (1). End-to-end system calibration is tested by comparisons between WindSat measurements and a robust model of the Earth TB using the vicarious cold reference method. (2). In an effort to determine probable causes for any calibration biases or scale errors that are identified, a refined Antenna ...
