ACOUSTICAL ROAD PARAMETERS IDENTIFICATION

8th European Conference on Noise Control 2009, 2023
Many impedance models can be used for describing the acoustical behaviour of a road. These models rely on some intrinsic parameters (2,3 or 4), which are difficult to measure in the field. Therefore, the measurement of these parameters usually requires to destroy the structure.

Induction motor drive parameters identification

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 1998
The paper deals with real-time identification of the rotor parameters of the induction motor drive. The model reference adaptative control technique has been used for synthesising two identifiers. An appropriate choice of the reference model allows a Lyapunov function to be built by means of which the updating law of the rotor time constant can be ...

AUV Parameter Identification

IFAC proceedings volumes, 2009
Abstract An extended Kalman filter is used to tackle the problem of parameter identification of an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). Since a large number of parameters must be identified, two alternative sub-approaches are investigated. A classical approach seems to have a better performance in cases where a specific parameter will be identified ...

Remarks on Parameter Identification

SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 1979
Suppose the values of the solution of a differential equation have been measured at discrete points in time. Then the continuous dependence of the undetermined coefficients on the data and the time intervals is proven for certain differential equations which arise in reaction kinetics.

Parameter identification of induction motors. 2. Parameter subset identification

Proceedings of the 1998 IEEE International Conference on Control Applications (Cat. No.98CH36104), 2002
The model-based identification concept is applied to the problem of subset parameter identification and identification of repeated parameters in induction motors. The aim of the investigation is a simplification of the identifier dynamics with a reduction of the computational burden.

Adaptive parameter identification

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1972
An extended Kalman filter with a fictitious noise input is developed for tracking time-varying parameters. An adaptation algorithm is used for adjusting the covariance of the fictitious noise according to the magnitude of the measured residuals and applied to the tracking of time-varying VTOL parameters.

Aquifer Parameter Identification

Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1975
This paper presents an analysis of the inverse problem of parameter (or parameters) identification in unsteady ground-water flow. The response of the system is governed by a typical nonlinear second-order partial differential equation for which there exists no closed-form solution. Identification is an inverse process whereby the parameters embedded in
