Dynamically parameterized architectures for power-aware video coding: motion estimation and DCT
Proceedings Second International Workshop on Digital and Computational Video, 2002Power-aware video coding requires a combination of high-performance and flexibility to satisfy perceptual quality requirements and meet low-power constraints. This work explores the use of dynamically configurable algorithms and architectures which leverage two fundamental properties of video processing: 1.

Parameterization of a single scattering atmospheric correction algorithm using 5S code
International Journal of Remote Sensing, 1994Abstract The aim of this letter is to present a parameterization scheme of a single scattering atmospheric correction algorithm using the Simulation of the Satellite Signal in the Solar Spectrum ( 5S) code. The parameterized version includes the effect of multiple scattering yet it retains its simplest form.

A GPU/FPGA-Based K-Means Clustering Using a Parameterized Code Generator
2018 Symposium on High Performance Computing Systems (WSCAD), 2018The K-means algorithm is a method used for the unsupervised learning task of data clustering. This work presents a K-means specific domain code generator capable of generating code for GPUs and FPGAs. To increase efficiency, the code is parameterized and specialized for Nvidia GPUs and Intel/Altera CPU-FPGA HARP v.2 platform. Furthermore, the generator

Gray code based gradient-free optimization algorithm for parameterized quantum circuit
Chinese Physics BA Gray code based gradient-free optimization (GCO) algorithm is proposed to update the parameters of parameterized quantum circuits (PQCs) in this work. Each parameter of PQCs is encoded as a binary string, named as a gene, and a genetic-based method is adopted to select the offsprings.

Modular type-based reverse engineering of parameterized types in Java code
Proceedings of the 14th ACM SIGPLAN conference on Object-oriented programming, systems, languages, and applications, 1999An analysis is provided for Java programs that reverse engineers parameterized types into existing Java code. This analysis propagates precise type information about the contents of container objects. As an application, the analysis can be used to justify the safe removal of downcasts that are guaranteed to succeed.

Rapid Annotation of Non-coding RNA Structures with a Parameterized Filtering Approach
2015An important problem in structural bioinformatics is to search genomes for RNA sequences with known secondary structures. Most of the existing approaches use sequence-structure alignment to evaluate the probability for a sequence segment to be a member of the searched RNA family.

g-binary: A New Non-parameterized Code for Improved Inverted File Compression
2003The inverted file is a popular and efficient method for indexing text databases and is being used widely in information retrieval applications. As a result, the research literature is rich in models (global and local) that describe and compress inverted file indexes. Global models compress the entire inverted file index using the same method and can be
