Change-points in parametric regressions
2018This chapter studies regression models for a real variable with change of the parameters at unknown thresholds of the regressors or at an unknown sampling index. We first consider a linear regression and its empirical estimators with the least squares estimators of the change-point then the maximum likelihood estimators of parametric models.

Parametric Uncertainty Analysis in a Phase Change Model
9th AIAA/ISSMO Symposium on Multidisciplinary Analysis and Optimization, 2002A phase-change model for solidification of aluminum parts in a steel mold is studied. Material parameters for this model were obtained from a literature search. There are variations in these parameter values which are used to perform an uncertainty analysis, estimating the influ- ence of these variations on the computed finite element solution. Details

Grammaticalization of auxiliaries and parametric changes
The Linguistic Review, 2017AbstractThis paper looks at constructions with non-clitic auxiliaries in Old Romanian, which precede the generalized option for clitic auxiliaries in the same language. We argue that non-clitic auxiliaries belong to a grammar with genuine SVO, scrambling to Spec, AspP, and subject-auxiliary inversion (SAI as AUX-to Fin).

Parametric Reshaping of Portrait Images for Weight-change
IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications, 2018We present an easy-to-use parametric image retouching method for thinning or fattening a face in a single portrait image while maintaining a close similarity to the source image. First, our method reconstructs a 3D face from the input face image using a morphable model.

Explaining changes in Italian consumption of meat: Parametric and non-parametric analysis
European Review of Agricultural Economics, 1994Lewbel's composite model for comparing the AIDS and Translog demand systems is estimated using Italian meat-consumption data. Preliminary non-parametric diagnoses suggest that exogenous shifters of price and expenditure need not be introduced into a parametric model.

Change-Point Detection With Non-Parametric Regression
Statistics, 2002We consider the regression model yi ¼ f ðxi Þþ e in which the function f or its pth derivative f ðpÞ may have a discontinuity at some unknown point t. By fitting local polynomials from the left and right, we test the null that f ðpÞ is continuous against the alternative that f ðpÞ ðt Þ 6¼ f ðpÞ ðtþÞ.

Nonparametric and Parametric Methods for Change-Point Detection in Parametric Models
2018We consider a posteriori and a priori change-point models. The parametric regression functions of the each phase can be nonlinear or linear, and moreover, in the linear case, the number of the explanatory variables could be large. Theoretical results and simulations are presented for each model.

Non-Parametric Change Point Problems Using Multipliers
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2012Trying to perform non-parametric change point tests for multivariate data using empirical processes is much more difficult that in the univariate case, since the limiting distribution depends on the unknown joint distribution function or its associated copula.
