Effect of the Generalized Uncertainty Principle on Post-Inflation Preheating [PDF]
We examine effects of the Generalized Uncertainty Principle, predicted by various theories of quantum gravity to replace the Heisenberg's uncertainty principle near the Planck scale, on post inflation preheating in cosmology, and show that it can predict

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Change Point Detection by State Space Modeling of Long-Term Air Temperature Series in Europe
This work presents the statistical analysis of a monthly average temperatures time series in several European cities using a state space approach, which considers models with a deterministic seasonal component and a stochastic trend.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

The V4: a Decade after the EU Entry
The objective of the paper is to give a picture of the sources of economic growth in the V4 countries during the decade following their EU entry and to crosscheck the results obtained by parametric and non-parametric approaches.

Bright tripartite entanglement in triply concurrent parametric oscillation [PDF]
We show that a novel optical parametric oscillator, based on concurrent $\chi^{(2)}$ nonlinearities, can produce, above threshold, bright output beams of macroscopic intensities which exhibit strong tripartite continuous-variable entanglement.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

The Effects of Climate Change in the Insurance Sector: A Case of Turkey
While climate change is one of the biggest threats to life on the planet, it’s obvious that it’ll have negative effects on the economic system if necessary precautions aren’t taken.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Application of Parametric Modeling in the Calculation of the Flow Rate of Cycloidal Pump
To solve the problems that theoretical flow calculation of cycloidal rotor pump is complicated and the accuracy of empirical formula is low,the parametric modeling technique is introduced into the calculation of the flow rate of cycloidal pump based on ...
