Diagnostic Value of Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound Parametric Imaging in Breast Tumors
This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of SonoLiver software for parametric imaging in breast tumors.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) was performed in 216 breast lesions (113 malignant, 103 benign). The CEUS parameters were compared between benign and malignant lesions.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Birnbaum-Saunders Semi-Parametric Additive Modeling
Inclusion of nonparametric functions enhances the modeling when accommodating non-linear effects of covariates. Semi-parametric models have been successfully used for describing non-linear structures by means of parametric and nonparametric components ...

Top Incomes, Heavy Tails, and Rank-Size Regressions
In economics, rank-size regressions provide popular estimators of tail exponents of heavy-tailed distributions. We discuss the properties of this approach when the tail of the distribution is regularly varying rather than strictly Pareto.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Parametric study of acetone excitation for use in flow diagnostics
A signal-to-noise-ratio parameter study and spectral analyses are performed on 1-% acetone/ 99%-air mixtures under different excitation conditions at a laser excitation wavelength of 266 nm. Signal-to-noise ratio is measured as a function of laser intensity, pressure, and camera read times. Comparison of spectral data is made with literature.

Diagnostics and future evolution analysis of the two parametric models
In this paper, we apply three diagnostics including $Om$, Statefinder hierarchy and the growth rate of perturbations into discriminating the two parametric models for the effective pressure with the $Λ$CDM model. By using the $Om$ diagnostic, we find that both the model 1 and the model 2 can be hardly distinguished from each other as well as the $Λ$CDM

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
