Twenty-Eight Orders of Parametric Resonance in a Microelectromechanical Device for Multi-band Vibration Energy Harvesting. [PDF]
This paper contends to be the first to report the experimental observation of up to 28 orders of parametric resonance, which has thus far only been envisioned in the theoretical realm.

Parametric resonance production of ultralight vector dark matter [PDF]
Vector bosons heavier than $10^{-22}$ eV can be viable dark matter candidates with distinctive experimental signatures. Ultralight dark matter generally requires a non-thermal origin to achieve the observed density, while still behaving like a ...

The Stability Analysis of a Vibrating Auto-Parametric Dynamical System Near Resonance
This paper examines a new vibrating dynamical motion of a novel auto-parametric system with three degrees of freedom. It consists of a damped Duffing oscillator as a primary system attached to a damped spring pendulum as a secondary system.

The wave energy sector has faced enormous technological improvements over the last five decades, however, due to the complexity of the hydrodynamic processes, current numerical models still have limitations in predicting relevant phenomena. In particular,

Entanglement production in the dynamical Casimir effect at parametric resonance [PDF]
The particles produced from the vacuum in the dynamical Casimir effect are highly entangled. In order to quantify the correlations generated by the process of vacuum decay induced by moving mirrors, we study the entanglement evolution in the dynamical ...

Forward flight of birds revisited. Part 2: short-term dynamic stability and trim [PDF]
Thrust generation by flapping is accompanied by alternating pitching moment. On the down-stroke, it pitches the bird down when the wings are above its centre of gravity and up when they are below; on the up-stroke, the directions reverse.

CHARTS STRUTT-INCE FOR GENERALIZED MATHIEU EQUATION [PDF]
We have investigated the solution of the generalized Mathieu equation. With the aid of diagrams Stratton-Ince built the instability region, the condition can occur when the parametric resonance.

Quantum parametric resonance [PDF]
The quantum mechanical equivalent of parametric resonance is studied. A simple model of a periodically kicked harmonic oscillator is introduced which can be solved exactly. Classically stable and unstable regions in parameter space are shown to correspond to Floquet operators with qualitatively different properties.

Analytical solutions of the simplified Mathieu’s equation [PDF]
Consider a second order differential linear periodic equation. The periodic coefficient is an approximation of the Mathieu’s coefficient. This equation is recast as a first-order homogeneous system.

In this paper, parametric forced tuned solid ball dampers (TSBD) are considered for vibration control of engineering structures in an untypical way. The special feature of the presented investigation is to evaluate the potential application of parametric
