Molecular characterization of marine and coastal fishes of Bangladesh through DNA barcodes
This study attempted to molecular characterization of marine and coastal fishes of Bangladesh based on COI gene as a marker. A total of 376 mitochondrial COI barcode sequences were obtained from 185 species belonging to 146 genera, 74 families, 20 orders, and two classes of fishes.

The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of pre-drying process on quality of fried breaded fish fillets. For this study, breaded black pomfret (Parastromateus niger) fillets were pre-dried in conventional oven at 180°C for 0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 sec.
