Semaglutide delays 4‐hour gastric emptying in women with polycystic ovary syndrome and obesity
Abstract Aim To evaluate the effect of once‐weekly subcutaneous semaglutide 1.0 mg on the late digestive period of gastric emptying (GE) after ingestion of a standardized solid test meal by using technetium scintigraphy, the reference method for this purpose.

Summary A 10‐h‐old 56‐kg Thoroughbred filly was presented for treatment of partial failure of passive transfer of immunity and presumed neonatal maladjustment syndrome (NMS). The filly was hospitalised, and supportive care initiated. On Day 5 of hospitalisation, seizures were observed and were controlled with IV administration of diazepam.

Summary This case report concerns a 1‐day‐old, full‐term Quarter Horse colt presented due to a progressive inability to rise and nurse. Besides the general weakness, a marked bradycardia was evident, which was caused by a third‐degree atrioventricular (AV) block.
