Intrathoracic parathyroid adenoma
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2004A 43-year-old woman was referred to University Hospital for evaluation of hypercalcemia. She had a history of renal calculi and hypertension. Her serum calcium and phosphorus levels were 10.9 mg/dL and 2.5 mg/dL, respectively. Her potassium level was 4.6 mEq/L. Urinary calcium (24 hours specimen) was 234 mg/dL (normal).
