Different Aspects of Letrozole Effect on Metabolism, Bone Health, Oxidative Stress and Prostate in the Intact Adult Dog

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 4, July 2025.
Letrozole increased the total antioxidant capacity and reduced malondialdehyde concentrations in both serum and seminal plasma. Letrozole increased parathormone and alkaline phosphatase levels in the serum. Letrozole decreased serum levels of IGF‐1, calcium, and 1, 25‐dihydroxy vitamin D.

Clinical Features of Seven COL2A1 Variations in Chinese Children With Type II Collagen Disorders

open access: yesActa Paediatrica, Volume 114, Issue 7, Page 1720-1730, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Aim Type II collagen, encoded by the collagen type II alpha 1 (COL2A1) gene, is crucial for the structure of cartilage. This study aims to improve our understanding of Spondyloepiphyseal Dysplasia Congenita (SEDC) caused by mutations in COL2A1. We also aim to evaluate the safety and efficacy of growth hormone (GH) therapy in two SEDC patients.

Gαq signalling from endosomes: A new conundrum

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 182, Issue 14, Page 3068-3089, July 2025.
Abstract G‐protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs) constitute the largest family of membrane receptors, and are involved in the transmission of a variety of extracellular stimuli such as hormones, neurotransmitters, light and odorants into intracellular responses.
