Redescription of paratypes of Gymnodamaeus adpressus (Acari: Oribatida: Gymnodamaeidae)
Paratypes of Gymnodamaeus adpressus (Aoki and Fujikawa, 1971) were re-examined. The number of notogastral setae reported in the original description is incorrect. The species has not two, but five, pairs of notogastral setae. In the tritonymph, setae p1 are shorter than setae h1.
