Cyberlindnera dasilvae sp. nov., a xylitol-producing yeast species isolated from rotting wood and frass of cerambycid larva.

International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, 2021
Six yeast isolates were obtained from rotting wood samples in Brazil and frass of a cerambycid beetle larva in French Guiana. Sequence analysis of the ITS-5.8S region and the D1/D2 domains of the large subunit rRNA gene showed that the isolates represent

Morphine-mimetic anti-paratypic antibodies: Cross-reactive properties

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1986
Polyclonal, anti-idiotypic, rabbit antibodies have been raised against four murine monoclonal anti-morphine Fab fragments. The antibody preparations, after affinity purification, have been shown to contain an anti-paratypic fraction which reversibly inhibits morphine binding to the anti-morphine antibodies and to cellular opiate receptors.

INFLUENCE OF GENOTYPE AND PARATYPE FACTORS ON THE REALIZATION OF MILK PRODUCTIVITY OF COWS

Naukovì Dopovìdì Nacìonalʹnogo Unìversitetu Bìoresursiv ì Prirodokoristuvannâ Ukraïni, 2023
The article examines the influence of genotypic and paratype factors on the milk productivity of cows of the ukrainian red-spotted dairy breed in the conditions of LLC "ATZT Myrne" of the Kitsman district of the Chernivtsi region. As a result of own research, it was established that cows of different genealogical formations differ in milk productivity,

Reproductive capacity of Swiss cows depending on paratypic factors

Izvestiya of Kabardino-Balkarian State Agrarian University named after V.M. Kokov
The Swiss cattle breed is being improved by the method of intra-breed selection using the gene pool of the best representatives of domestic and foreign selection with simultaneous improvement of feeding and housing conditions. Breeding herds of Swiss cattle are distinguished by a high genetic productivity potential, which indicates the competitiveness ...

Paratyping: A Contextualized Method of Inquiry for Understanding Perceptions of Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing Technologies

Human–Computer Interaction, 2013
In this article, we describe the origins, use, and efficacy of a contextualized method for evaluating mobile and ubiquitous computing systems. This technique, which we called paratyping , is based on experience prototyping and event-contingent experience sampling and allows researchers to survey people in real-life situations without the need for ...

Infl uence of some paratypical factors on the productive longevity of cows

Glavnyj zootehnik (Head of Animal Breeding)
Under current conditions of agricultural production, increasing milk productivity and extending the productive longevity of cows are the most important tasks. The purpose of the research was to determine the infl uence of some paratypic factors on the productive longevity of cows.
