Percentiles of Range: Pareto Type Model

open access: yes, 2013
Statistical quality control relates heavily on the goodness of control chart limits. The more accurate those limits are, the more likely are to detect whether a process is in control. Various procedures have been developed to compute good control limits.

A Scale for Mixed Reasons for Belief

open access: yesNoûs, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Epistemic reasons matter for what you should believe. But then, some think there are practical reasons that matter, too. How could both sorts of reasons be weighed together to determine the doxastic states you ought to hold, all things considered?

Waste activated sludge high‐rate treatment of septage: Biodegradability studies and contact phase trials towards a cleaner environment

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 104, Issue 6, Page 2842-2861, June 2026.
Abstract The waste activated sludge high‐rate (WASHR) process, developed in our previous study, is used for septic wastewater treatment. This high‐rate contact stabilization pre‐treatment uses typical waste streams found in wastewater treatment plants to reduce a portion of the loadings on the main treatment trains.
