The Reduction of Modal Sensor Channels through a Pareto Chart Methodology [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sensors, 2015
Presented herein is a new experimental sensor placement procedure developed to assist in placing sensors in key locations in an efficient method to reduce the number of channels for a full modal analysis. It is a fast, noncontact method that uses a laser vibrometer to gather a candidate set of sensor locations.

Considering spatiotemporal evolutionary information in dynamic multi‐objective optimisation

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Preserving population diversity and providing knowledge, which are two core tasks in the dynamic multi‐objective optimisation (DMO), are challenging since the sampling space is time‐ and space‐varying. Therefore, the spatiotemporal property of evolutionary information needs to be considered in the DMO.
