Cubic Transmuted Pareto Distribution
Annals of Data Science, 2018In this article, we have proposed the cubic transmuted Pareto distribution, by using the cubic transmuted family of distributions introduced by Rahman et al. (in Pak J Stat Oper Res 14:451–469, 2018). We have explored the distribution in detail and statistical properties of the distribution have been studied.

Matrix variate pareto distributions
Mathematica Slovaca, 2021Abstract Matrix variate generalizations of Pareto distributions are proposed. Several properties of these distributions including cumulative distribution functions, characteristic functions and relationship to matrix variate beta type I and matrix variate type II distributions are studied.

Trusting Others: A Pareto Distribution of Source and Message Credibility Among News Reporters
Communication Research, 2020This study uses the case study of journalists to explore the socio-cognitive nature of interpersonal trust in growingly deceptive ecosystems. Journalists are ideal test subjects to explore these issues as professional trust allocators, who receive ...

TRANSMUTED EXPONENTIAL PARETO DISTRIBUTION
Far East Journal of Theoretical Statistics, 2015Summary: A generalized version of the exponential Pareto distribution has been proposed in this study using the quadratic rank transmutation map. The new generalization is called the transmuted exponential Pareto distribution. A comprehensive description of the statistical properties of this new distribution along with its reliability function, hazard ...

Abstract We review several common discretization schemes and study a particular class of power-tail probability distributions on integers, obtained by discretizing continuous Pareto II (Lomax) distribution through one of them. Our results include expressions for the density and cumulative distribution functions, probability generating ...

Composite Exponential-Pareto distribution
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2021One of the few goals of statistical modeling is to see and analyze the probability of an event which can be represented with data. A probability distribution that is used for modeling data should have some abilities such as flexibility for modeling different kinds of data. Therefore, modeling data is of great importance.

On a new generalization of Pareto distribution and its applications
Communications in statistics. Simulation and computation, 2018Pareto distribution is one of the well known distributions used to fit heavy-tailed data. Various generalizations of this distribution have been reported in the literature by several authors.

Building on new insights into the genesis ofPareto-Distributions,(“Kopp” effect etc.) as publishedearlier in “Quality and Quantity”, the author gives at least oneauthentic/definitive Pareto-Formula. A practical example of the synthetic generation of Pareto Distributions by means of spreadsheets.
