Assessing Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) for Evaluation of Aedes aegypti Population Age Structure
Given that older Aedes aegypti (L.) mosquitoes typically pose the greatest risk of pathogen transmission, the capacity to age grade wild Ae. aegypti mosquito populations would be a valuable tool in monitoring the potential risk of arboviral transmission.

Purchasing Power Parity and Interest Parity in the Laboratory [PDF]
This paper analyses purchasing power parity and uncovered interest parity in the laboratory. It finds strong evidence that purchasing power parity, covered interest parity, and uncovered interest parity hold. Subjects are endowed with an intrinsically useless (green) currency that can be used to purchase another useless (red) currency.

Inverse Design of Amorphous Materials With Targeted Properties
AMDEN is a diffusion model framework for the inverse design of amorphous materials with targeted properties. By incorporating Hamiltonian Monte Carlo refinement into the denoising process, the framework overcomes the challenge of generating thermally relaxed disordered structures.

Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Incidence of different types of dystocia in different seasons of the year and parities in Iranian Holstein dairy cows [PDF]
Dystocia (DYS) is an important problem in Holstein cattle and imposes important economic losses on cattle producers. The etiologies and types of DYS are various and different factors can influence its incidence.

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

Helicity Basis and Parity [PDF]
We study the theory of the (1/2,0)+(0,1/2) representation in helicity basis. Helicity eigenstates are not the parity eigenstates. This is in accordance with the consideration of Berestetskii, Lifshitz and Pitaevskii. Relations to the Gelfand-Tsetlin-Sokolik-type quantum field theory are discussed. Finally, a new form of the parity operator is proposed.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...
