Plant memories: Art co‐created with the public as a tool for investigating how people build lasting connections with plants

open access: yesPlants, People, Planet
Societal Impact Statement People often undervalue plants, hindering botanical education and conservation efforts. This study demonstrates how art‐based approaches including audience co‐creation elements can yield new insights into human‐plant ...

Exploring the non-genetic factors that affect reproduction traits of Saanen Goats in Indonesia

open access: yesJournal of Agriculture and Rural Development in the Tropics and Subtropics, 2023
Adjustment of trait records for different non-genetic factors increases the accuracy of genetic parameters and enables more accurate selection. This study aimed to investigate the non-genetic factors affecting reproductive traits in Saanen goats at the ...

A Supersymmetric U(1)' Model with Multiple Dark Matters

open access: yes, 2007
We consider a scenario where a supersymmetric model has multiple dark matter particles. Adding a U(1)' gauge symmetry is a well-motivated extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM).

Can R-parity violation hide vanilla supersymmetry at the LHC? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Current experimental constraints on a large parameter space in supersymmetric models rely on the large missing energy signature. This is usually provided by the lightest neutralino which stability is ensured by the R-parity.

Superionic Amorphous Li2ZrCl6 and Li2HfCl6

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Amorphous Li2HfCl6 and L2ZrCl6 are shown to be promising solid‐state electrolytes with predicted ionic conductivities >20 mS·cm−1. Molecular dynamics simulations with machine‐learning force fields reveal that anion vibrations and flexible MCl6 octahedra soften the Li coordination cage and enhance mobility. Correlation between Li‐ion diffusivity and the

Analysis of premature births for the period from 2009. to 2013. in Health Center Kosovska Mitrovica [PDF]

open access: yesPraxis Medica, 2015
Delivery before 37th week of gestation is defined as preterm, independently of body mass of babies, according to the World Health Organization. Premature birth is the current problem in the world due to the high risk of neonatal morbidity and mortality ...

Spontaneous Parity Violation

open access: yes, 2005
We disprove the Vafa-Witten theorem on the impossibility of spontaneously breaking parity in vector-like gauge field theories, identifying a mechanism driven by quantum fluctuations.

Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

Faktor Risiko Kejadian Anemia pada Ibu Hamil di Rumah Sakit BARI Palembang

open access: yesJurnal Kesehatan, 2017
The appearance of anemia during the maternity caused the death of mothers indirectly. Based on the data from BARI hospital Palembang in 2015, it was found for about 29 (13 %) of 2218 maternity mothers affected by anemia. The objectives of this study were
