Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Insights into Electrospinning: Machine Learning Models to Predict Cotton‐Wool‐Like Structure of Electrospun Fibers

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Electrospinning allows the fabrication of fibrous 3D cotton‐wool‐like scaffolds for tissue engineering. Optimizing this process traditionally relies on trial‐and‐error approaches, and artificial intelligence (AI)‐based tools can support it, with the prediction of fiber properties. This work uses machine learning to classify and predict the structure of

Neural Decoder for Topological Codes using Pseudo-Inverse of Parity Check Matrix [PDF]

open access: yes2019 IEEE Information Theory Workshop (ITW), 2019
Recent developments in the field of deep learning have motivated many researchers to apply these methods to problems in quantum information. Torlai and Melko first proposed a decoder for surface codes based on neural networks. Since then, many other researchers have applied neural networks to study a variety of problems in the context of decoding.

Automation of an integrated micro‐scale platform for monoclonal antibody process development by incorporation of a depth filter mimic

open access: yesBiotechnology Progress, EarlyView.
Integrating non‐chromatographic operations, such as low pH viral inactivation and a depth filtration mimic, into an automated micro‐scale platform enhances productivity while reducing resource and time requirements. By facilitating rapid, data‐rich experimentation, the platform offers a powerful and efficient tool for assessing and optimizing ...

On Pseudocodewords and Improved Union Bound of Linear Programming Decoding of HDPC Codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we present an improved union bound on the Linear Programming (LP) decoding performance of the binary linear codes transmitted over an additive white Gaussian noise channels. The bounding technique is based on the second-order of Bonferroni-

Asynchronous LGBTQ+ Affirming Counseling Training With Early Career Counselors: A Mixed Methods Program Evaluation

open access: yesCounselor Education and Supervision, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A growing body of research shows that training in LGBTQ+ affirming counseling (LGBTQ+ AC) positively impacts counselors’ perceived knowledge and skills in providing mental health services to LGBTQ+ communities. Existing program evaluations of LGBTQ+ AC, however, have primarily used synchronous delivery formats and cultural competency models ...

Quantum dialogue protocol based on self-dual quantum low density parity check codes

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报, 2020
In quantum channels, particles are usually affected by noise during transmission. A quantum dialogue protocol based on self-dual quantum low density parity check codes was proposed to resist noise attacks.

A Packing Lemma for Polar Codes

open access: yes, 2015
A packing lemma is proved using a setting where the channel is a binary-input discrete memoryless channel $(\mathcal{X},w(y|x),\mathcal{Y})$, the code is selected at random subject to parity-check constraints, and the decoder is a joint typicality ...

Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

Construction Method of QC-LDPC Codes with Big Girth for Fast Encoding [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
The sub-matrices on both diagonals of the right half of the check matrix are unit matrices.Existence of the deterministic unit matrix not only destroys the randomness of Quasie Cyclic-Low Density Parity Check(QC-LDPC) code,it leads to a certain loss of ...

Aloe vera in Food Preservation: Harnessing Bioactive Constituents for Clean‐Label Innovation and Safety Assurance

open access: yesFood Safety and Health, EarlyView.
Aloe vera‐derived biopolymers and nanoformulations enhance antimicrobial, antioxidant, and barrier functions in clean‐label edible coatings and films, whereas safety‐critical anthraquinone thresholds and regulatory constraints shape their translational potential.
