Flexible Memory: Progress, Challenges, and Opportunities

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Flexible memory technology is crucial for flexible electronics integration. This review covers its historical evolution, evaluates rigid systems, proposes a flexible memory framework based on multiple mechanisms, stresses material design's role, presents a coupling model for performance optimization, and points out future directions.

A formal verification of the theory of parity complexes

open access: yesJournal of Formalized Reasoning, 2015
We formalise, in Coq, the opening sections of Parity Complexes [Street1991] up to and including the all important excision of extremals algorithm. Parity complexes describe the essential combinatorial structure exhibited by simplexes, cubes and globes ...

Anisotropic reflection oscillation in periodic multilayer structures of parity-time symmetry.

open access: yesOptics Express, 2014
We show that periodic multilayer structures with parity-time (PT) symmetries imposed by a balanced arrangement of gain and loss can exhibit anisotropic reflection oscillation patterns as the number of unit-cells is increasing. At the minima of reflection

Topology‐Aware Machine Learning for High‐Throughput Screening of MOFs in C8 Aromatic Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
We screened 15,335 Computation‐Ready, Experimental Metal–Organic Frameworks (CoRE‐MOFs) using a topology‐aware machine learning (ML) model that integrates structural, chemical, pore‐size, and topological descriptors. Top‐performing MOFs exhibit aromatic‐enriched cavities and open metal sites that enable π–π and C–H···π interactions, serving as ...

Accelerating Biosensor Discovery: A Computationally‐Driven Pipeline for Microplastics Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
A computationally guided pipeline unites molecular simulation, synthetic biology, electrochemical engineering, and machine learning to accelerate biosensor discovery. A Bacillus anthracis carbohydrate‐binding module is used to develop a high‐performance micro‐ and nanoplastics sensor with greatly reduced error and variability.

Parity and NIS Expression in Atypical Cells of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer, and Prognosis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences
Breast cancer is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, affecting 2.3 million and causing 670,000 deaths in women annually. However, data indicate that the risk of developing breast cancer decreases with pregnancy at a young age, and each subsequent pregnancy further reduces the risk by approximately 10%.

FIRE‐GNN: Force‐Informed, Relaxed Equivariance Graph Neural Network for Rapid and Accurate Prediction of Surface Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This study introduces FIRE‐GNN, a force‐informed, relaxed equivariant graph neural network for predicting surface work functions and cleavage energies from slab structures. By incorporating surface‐normal symmetry breaking and machine learning interatomic potential‐derived force information, the approach achieves state‐of‐the‐art accuracy and enables ...

Milk somatic cell count, composition and yield of multi-breed dairy cattle in Ethiopia

open access: yesCogent Food & Agriculture
Mastitis is highly prevalent and causes significant economic loss in the Ethiopian dairy industry. An important aspect of monitoring dairy cow health and milk quality is understanding somatic cell count (SCC), composition and milk yield. This study aimed
