Kelvin-Helmholtz instability is the result of parity-time symmetry breaking
Parity-Time (PT)-symmetry is being actively investigated as a fundamental property of observables in quantum physics. We show that the governing equations of the classical two-fluid interaction and the incompressible fluid system are PT-symmetric, and ...

Accelerating Biosensor Discovery: A Computationally‐Driven Pipeline for Microplastics Monitoring
A computationally guided pipeline unites molecular simulation, synthetic biology, electrochemical engineering, and machine learning to accelerate biosensor discovery. A Bacillus anthracis carbohydrate‐binding module is used to develop a high‐performance micro‐ and nanoplastics sensor with greatly reduced error and variability.

Two-photon decay enhanced even photon bundle emission
Multiquanta emission holds significant value for quantum computing and quantum information processing. In this study, we aim to enhance multiphoton bundle emission by introducing two-photon decay into cavity quantum electrodynamics systems.

This study introduces FIRE‐GNN, a force‐informed, relaxed equivariant graph neural network for predicting surface work functions and cleavage energies from slab structures. By incorporating surface‐normal symmetry breaking and machine learning interatomic potential‐derived force information, the approach achieves state‐of‐the‐art accuracy and enables ...

Probing the R-parity violating supersymmetric effects in the exclusive c→d/sℓ+νℓ decays
A lot of branching ratios of the exclusive c→d/sℓ+νℓ (ℓ=e,μ) decays have been quite accurately measured by CLEO-c, BELLE, BABAR, BES(I, II, III), ALEPH and MARKIII Collaborations.

On The Physical Parity Transformation And Antiparticles
It was argued a long time ago by T.D. Lee and G.C. Wick that there is a basis where the usual CP (charge-parity) transformation becomes a parity transformation. Indeed, at the quantum level all fields are real representations of the group of symmetries, because CP (charge-parity) is a linear transformation.
