The parity anomaly in condensed matter physics
Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1987Abstract I discuss in detail the recently proposed physical realization of the Parity Anomaly in a PbTe-type crystal with a stacking fault. A close analogy with charged soliton states in one-dimensional systems is presented. A possible way to introduce chiral fermions in a Lattice Gauge Theory is discussed.

Parity Violation in Atomic Physics and Neutral Currents
1977Using atomic physics experiments as a way to get information about electron-hadron neutral currents seems, at first sight, a hopeless enterprise. It is only for momentum transfer q of the order of a few hundred GeV that the neutral current electron-hadron amplitude Aw can complete with the electromagnetic one AEM.
