Based on our research and literature data, an overview of the species of the genus Nipponoparmelia (Parmeliaceae) that occur on the territory of Russia (N. isidioclada, N. laevior, N. perplicata, N. pseudolaevior) is presented. An identification key, refined diagnoses of the species, description of their ecology and distribution are provided.
