Bioresource Technology, 2008The biosorption characteristics of Pb(II) and Cr(III) ions from aqueous solution using the lichen (Parmelina tiliaceae) biomass were investigated. Optimum biosorption conditions were determined as a function of pH, biomass dosage, contact time, and temperature.
