Pseudorabies virus (PRV), an emerging zoonotic α‐herpesvirus, causes life‐threatening human encephalitis. We identified a broad‐spectrum neutralizing antibody 6F7 targeting PRV gD. It blocks gD‐Nectin‐1 binding and membrane fusion, inhibiting replication across all PRV variants, representing a promising candidate for anti‐PRV therapy.

PlantGFM: A Genomic Foundation Model for Discovery and Creation of Plant Genes
A plant genomic foundation model pre‐trained on 12 species enables both accurate gene prediction and de novo gene design. Through AI‐human knowledge screening, seven designed sequences showed transcriptional activity in plants, with two expressing stable proteins—demonstrating the first DNA‐RNA‐protein expression of LLM‐generated genes in plants and ...

N.: Bayesian reinforcement for a probabilistic neural net part-of-speech tagger
. The present paper introduces a novel stochastic model for Part-Of-Speech tagging of natural language texts. While previous statistical approaches, such as Hidden Markov Models, are based on theoretical assumptions that are not always met in natural ...

PDIA6–SCD1 Axis Rewires Lipid Metabolism to Drive Gastric Cancer Progression
Protein disulfide isomerase A6 (PDIA6) is identified as an oncogenic driver in gastric cancer. PDIA6 directly binds and stabilizes SCD1 by limiting its ubiquitin–proteasome‐mediated degradation, thereby sustaining monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA)‐enriched lipid homeostasis and lipid metabolic reprogramming.

Spectral Graph Convolutional Networks for Part-of-Speech Tagging [PDF]
Part-of-Speech tagging is the process of assigning words with similar grammatical properties to a part of speech (PoS). In the English language, PoS-tagging algorithms generally reach very high accuracy.

SCAP-TT: Tagging and lemmatising Spanish tourism discourse, and beyond [PDF]
In this research note we report on the first results of SCAP, the Spanish Corpus Annotation Project, applied to tourism discourse (SCAP_tur). In particular, we present and assess a new TreeTagger parameter set for Spanish (SCAP-TT), which has been ...

Domain Shift in Part-of-Speech Tagging
This study highlights domain shift in dataset distributions that impact machine learning performance in clinical natural language processing, analyzing linguistic differences across clinical narratives, biomedical abstracts, and news articles in English using part-of-speech (POS) tag distributions.

MIS12 Is Required for Kinetochore‐Microtubule Attachment in Oocyte Meiosis
A model depicting the role of MIS12 in K‐MT attachment during oocyte meiosis. The presence of MIS12 stabilizes bipolar K‐MT attachments by maintaining the function of NDC80 and its interaction with TUBB. This, in turn, promotes KNL1 assembly and subsequent SAC protein recruitment to kinetochores.
