Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

KIPoS @ EVALITA2020: Overview of the Task on KIParla Part of Speech Tagging [PDF]
The paper describes the first task on Part of Speech tagging of spoken lan- guage held at the Evalita evaluation cam- paign, KIPoS. Benefiting from the avail- ability of a resource of transcribed spo- ken Italian (i.e. the KIParla corpus), which has been

Shallow parsing as part-of-speech tagging [PDF]
Treating shallow parsing as part-of-speech tagging yields results comparable with other, more elaborate approaches. Using the CoNLL 2000 training and testing material, our best model had an accuracy of 94.88%, with an overall FB1 score of 91.94%. The individual FB1 scores for NPs were 92.19%, VPs 92.70% and PPs 96.69%.

Information Transmission Strategies for Self‐Organized Robotic Aggregation
In this review, we discuss how information transmission influences the neighbor‐based self‐organized aggregation of swarm robots. We focus specifically on local interactions regarding information transfer and categorize previous studies based on the functions of the information exchanged.

An Improved Tag Dictionary for Faster Part-of-Speech Tagging [PDF]
Ratnaparkhi (1996) introduced a method of inferring a tag dictionary from annotated data to speed up part-of-speech tagging by limiting the set of possible tags for each word. While Ratnaparkhi’s tag dictionary makes tagging faster but less accurate, an alternative tag dictionary that we recently proposed (Moore, 2014) makes tagging as fast as with ...

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Reliable Part-of-Speech Tagging of Historical Corpora through Set-Valued Prediction [PDF]
Syntactic annotation of corpora in the form of part-of-speech (POS) tags is a key requirement for both linguistic research and subsequent automated natural language processing (NLP) tasks.

Neural Fields for Highly Accelerated 2D Cine Phase Contrast MRI
ABSTRACT 2D cine phase contrast (CPC) MRI provides quantitative information on blood velocity and flow within the human vasculature. However, data acquisition is time‐consuming, motivating the reconstruction of the velocity field from undersampled measurements to reduce scan times. In this work, neural fields are proposed as a continuous spatiotemporal

Lactate in cervical cancer induces HNRNPU K181 lactylation, opposed by NAA50‐mediated acetylation and suppressed by Pazopanib. This lactylation enhances HNRNPU binding to PHGDH pre‐mRNA exon 1, maintaining exon 1‐containing transcripts and mRNA stability, thereby activating serine metabolism.
